Essential Topics Focus Clinics

Join us at the OAC between games for our intensive focus clinics!

These four sessions present tactics and skills that you can apply to your game immediately, ensuring more consistent positive outcomes in often-chaotic situations in front of the goal.

Sessions run Friday, 11/29 & Saturday, 11/30

8:30a-10a | 10:30a-12p | 12:30p-2p | 2:30p-4p

The same sessions are offered at the same times both days so that you can attend as many topics as will fit your schedule!

Open to all goalies ages 12-18.

Decision making and skills of managing short rebounds in tight spaces near the face of the goal.
8:30am - 10am
The focus here is skill choice, decision making, and communication in crowded space near the face of the goal.
[This curriculum stands alone and as a progression from the first session.]
10:30am - 12pm
Digging into recognizing patterns of play development from the left and right baseline to enhance decision making, and development of applicable skills.
12:30pm - 2pm
Session dedicated to training eye-tracking, and how to develop goalkeeper-specific ocular acuity at home.
2:30pm - 4pm

Master Class

Greater Binghamton Sports Complex

December 26, 2024

This event combines curriculums from “The Way of the Ninja” and “To Go or To Stay?” to bring goalies all the necessary tools to optimize their every movement and make an effective decision in any scenario. Goalkeepers will receive personalized feedback on their biomechanics: optimize change of angle, recovery from the ground, defending relevant space, and execution of fundamental skills. We will also delve into concepts of team defense and cues that indicate what will happen next as the play develops. Through new eyes, goalies will learn to recognize moments to stay set and make a save and when they should be proactive going to the ball.
Open to all GKs ages 11-19.
